| These photographs were taken in January 1997 at the rear of Littleborough station near the Waterside Inn showing the culverted canal where it passes under Hollingworth Road/Canal Street. |

| This photograph (10 February 2002) shows the view Eastwards. The road has been slightly diverted Westwards to accommodate the new bridge. One half of the diverted road has been opened to allow work to continue on the other (Eastward side) and so that traffic can continue using the road. . The canal is still blocked at this point, water being carried past the blockage in a pipe |
